This week has been a bit of a rollercoaster. After my fall last Saturday I brought my broken camera to be repaired.

The good news is that the body can be repaired.

The bad news is the lens is toast.

The good(ish) news is the body will only cost about $500 to repair.

Bad news: it will take 6 to 8 weeks to come back.

Good news: a friend has an almost new camera and lens for sale.

Bad news: he needs $2000

Good news: I have room on my Visa….
