I had a duplicate copy of my photos on two external drives as well as a backup server. I was using a program to synchronize the three copies. Somehow this program decided that, rather than copying new files from one drive to the backup, it would delete files that don&#8217;t appear in the backup!<\/p>\n<p>I guess I need to find a different backup program.
