Summer Flower
Butchard Gardens near Victoria are an awesome place to wander. This flower was one of many calling out to have its photo taken on a nice afternoon on late summer day.
Past it's Prime
there can be beauty in age. This daisy was from a bouquet I bought for taking photos. As I left it drying out in my living room, the flower seemed to gain character, and a prescence, even as it drooped.
Art in Chaos
Graffitti on an abandon foundation near Gowland Todd Inlet on Vancouver Island. The painted lines and colours are complimented by the bare branches and twigs of a small bush in late winter/early spring.
Reflection #8
Colourful reflections on the water near Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria. I was told it looks like a bear digging into a big bowl of honey.
Gerba
Flowers within Flowers, a closeup of a Gerba Daisy showing the detail and intricacy of the flower.
kinetic sculpture at Victoria Public Library courtyard. Note: this is a close approximation of the printed version.

Koi Reflections
Koi in a pond at the Parkside Hotel in Victoria, BC. The abstract reflection echos the shape of the fish.
