There are a few ways to approach a potential photographic scene. Sometimes the area will need a bit of exploring to find the best images (see my last post about fall leaves). Sometimes it is just a matter of capturing what is present.
Wandering around some residential streets, I came across this piece of art. There was no question on the angle of view. All I had to do was stand across the street and shoot. It was easy to decide what to exclude (the house on top of the bank, the street itself…)
One day I will probably go back and try taking abstract pieces of the scene, but that will be another entire process.
