I had the opportunity to ride with Santa on the Victoria Truck Parade again this year. Of course it was a blast, but one problem is that I don’t see the entire parade.
The start at Ogden Point was VERY windy and rainy, but once we got going it was not so bad. It is always fun to see the people on the side of the road, and of course ‘Santa’ is great.
From a photographic point of view, these images would have been impossible not too long ago. I remember getting an early roll of Fuji ISO 800 film. the results were not very good. All of the images in this set were taken at ISO 1600 or above. some higher than ISO 6400{{1}}!!
[[1]] I find anything higher than ISO 6400 may look fine on a monitor, but does not really print well. I usually cap my ISO at 6400 for that reason.(ISO 12800 is just too crazy for this old film photographer)[[1]]
