I took some time this morning to go to Goldstream Park. I need to get out once and a while just to exercise my artistic eye…

The skunk cabbage leaves kind of look how I feel after the heat spell we have had, tired and droopy…

And since it is a bit early for fall colours, I did this shot in Black and White (as always, click on the image for a larger version)…

and finally, I grabbed my macro and took a close up of the originator of Velcro{{1}}…

Of course these are all still rough drafts. I am not sure if I will work on them at all, but it was good to get out for a few hours…
