A couple of months ago I took some photos of my friend Nevada dressed as Lup. One of the images needed a flame. I tried creating one in Photoshop, but I was not really happy.

As I am trying to learn javascript, I thought a dynamic flame might be interesting. This is what I came up with. If you move your mouse up and down in the image, the flame changes size…

PS it may be a bit slow to load due to the large image file…

pps this doesn’t seem to work on mobile devices yet.. that will be in version 2…
